Absolutely unique Unimog 416 U1100 with beautiful camping body.
The vehicle is in first ownership after we acquired it from the French fire department in 2018 with only 18,000 km.
The Unimog is in a unique condition and has received quite a few modifications by us, which make it a unique one-off:
Conversion to OM357LA with turbocharging and intercooler. Absolutely professionally executed and with TÜV approval.
Due to the conversion, the Unimog is unrecognizable. It drives fantastically, hangs perfectly on the gas and is fast even on steep inclines. The power was only moderately increased from 125 to 150 hp.
To cope with the higher torque, a new reinforced UG30 transmission was installed. In addition to handle higher torque, it has the enormous advantage of shifting way smoother. It offers 2 times 4 forward gears (high and low range) and 4 reverse gears. A power take-off with 2 speeds and an output to the front for a winch is also available.
In addition, adjustable Koni dampers and 14R20 tires were installed.
With the original fast axles, comfortable travel at over 100 km/h is thus possible.
The paint of the cab is in original condition without the slightest rust! The cab has been completely soundproofed and upgraded with fine details, such as door panels with Alcantara cover and carpets. The driver's seat has been replaced with a comfort seat with suspension that makes long trips comfortable.
Probably this is the only U416 with which you can actually travel long distances without any worries.
Even cruise control is on board.
But the absolute highlight is the foldable tent structure with the accompanying camping furniture!
It makes the 416 the coolest camper!
Assembled and disassembled in just 3 minutes, the Unimog thus offers all imaginable comfort: bed, cabinets, self-sufficient power supply with PV, full kitchen with hot water, driving lights and ambient lighting and much more...
The foldable tent is waterproof and storm-proof.
The entire interior is of extremely high quality and cannot be purchased anywhere else in this form.
All technical installations are from the yacht sector and designed for extreme applications.
The tent construction as well as all installations can be removed from the Unimog in a few minutes without tools.
Since the rebuild we have covered about 2000 km with the Unimog. So everything is still in almost new condition.
All work is professionally done and extensively documented! In addition, there are all workshop manuals and extensive accessories.
The Unimog has a German title with a classic-car-registration. We can ship it at the buyers cost everywhere on the planet.
The price of 90.000,- $ includes the tent and the camping equipment, as the vehicle is currently and as it can be seen on the photos.
If there is interest in acquiring only the Unimog, so that on its basis can realize its own construction, this would also be possible. Without tent and furniture the vehicle costs 70.000,- €.
Should someones wishes be fulfilled? No problem! If desired, special wishes on the vehicle or the camping equipment can be realized in our own workshop.
