MAN/VW G90 FAE 4×4

About
Super clean German engineering at 1/3 the cost of a Unimog. The entire vehicle has been torn down and refurbished. I was building it for an overland vehicle but have run out of time and space. I spent the last 2 years concentrating on mechanical reliability of the vehicle. Lots of upgrades and improvements. It has front/middle/rear traction lockers and Hi/Lo 4x4 with a 5-speed manual transmission. This is the most optimal form of overland vehicle drivetrain, with zero computers, a diesel engine, and a manual transmission. The size and short wheelbase of this vehicle also make it very easy to get in and out of smaller places (parking lots/campgrounds) compared to larger 4x4s, 6x6s, and even 8x8 vehicles. It will do 75 mph with all the upgrades and improvements but is happiest around 55-65 mph. It gets 400 miles per tank at 55 mph. Ready for a custom camper box, camp in it as is, or use it for errands to the hardware store on the weekends – the options are endless.
