This is the text you need to work on: After years of great adventures, we have decided to sell our beloved Defender 130 HCPU Crew Cab.
Built in 2005 and currently with 316,000 km on the clock. The original engine was replaced at 182,563 km, the replacement engine was in excellent order and had previously done 89,000 km. The replacement engine has now done approximately 129,000 km.
The Defender was purchased by us in 2016 and professionally customised as a heavy duty offroad vehicle. We have had the pleasure of using the vehicle to travel around Europe and Asia in 2023, from the Netherlands to Georgia and Armenia, it’s been well tested and it’s super capable.
Our custom built offroad trailer is already sold. We have made the hard decision to sell as we have discovered a love for overlanding and would like to tackle this full time, the sale would allow us to take this to the next step and create an overland expedition truck.
We have used the Defender in all terrains, she is a capable beast and has been faultless, especially towing the trailer up steep inclines to get to those amazing wild camping spots! As with all journeys of this nature we also ate a lot of km’s on the highway and she drives like a dream.
The vehicle has been scrupulously well maintained, we have our own Defender maintenance business, our own workshop and a considerable amount of knowledge/experience. The vehicle has always been serviced on time. All maintenance has been carried out with genuine parts. The vehicle has a tow weight of 3,500 kg and is registered with 5 seats (rear seats included with the sale).
