For sale is a very special model of a MAN all-wheel tractor unit that is ideally suited as a base vehicle for a touring or expedition vehicle. The tractor unit is easily confused with the MAN KAT or the MAN HX. The exact designation of the vehicle is MAN FALSX. The MAN tractor unit is based on the civilian FX 2000 series and differs from it, among other things, by the so-called modular cab.
Advantages over the KAT:
- Short wheelbase, therefore very high off-road mobility
- Potent, powerful 6-cylinder engine with over 400 hp
- No torque converter gearbox, resulting in much lower fuel consumption
- More modern technology and engine (standard technology from the 1990s)
- Air suspension on the rear axle
- Modular tiltable cab, engine under and not behind the cab

- Significantly higher driving safety thanks to ABS
- Possibility of a step-through between cab and cab
- Modular unit can be removed behind the cab
(this allows significantly more space to be gained for the cab).

The vehicle comes with a platform that can be connected to the vehicle via the fifth wheel coupling and two ball heads. A living cabin could also be mounted on the platform so that the vehicle could be used both commercially and privately. The MAN is currently registered and can be viewed and test-driven by prior arrangement in 82284 Grafrath. We can also transfer the FALSX throughout Europe for a fee.
