Due to changing needs, we are selling, not without regret, a CAMPERIZED TRUCK READY TO GO. Not something done haphazardly, but a true TRAVELING HOME. OVERLAND!
SHIPPING | FULLTIMER | CAMPERLIFE | VANLIFE. 3 TRAVEL SEATS AND 4 BEDS. REGULARLY HOMOLOGATED AS A MOTORHOME.
So, inspection every 2 years and NO tachograph required. Obviously, a CLASS C license is needed (not C1, it requires C!). The vehicle is NOT a 4x4, it's rear-wheel drive, but has a manual rear differential lock.
The vehicle is a Mercedes 1120 EX GERMAN FIRE TRUCK (kept like a jewel). Year 1989, currently with 33,000 km. OM 366 LA engine with 200 horsepower and 6,000 cc displacement.
ETERNAL ENGINE if treated properly. Length: 8 meters; Width: 2.50 meters; Height: 3.70 meters; Wheelbase: 4.20 meters. We bought the truck in Germany in 2022 with 17,000 km.
We imported it, converted it into a camper, and happily lived and traveled aboard. NEVER HAD A SINGLE PROBLEM. The truck is in PERFECT condition, needs no intervention of any kind.
It has just been serviced. In 2023, we replaced the rear dual wheels with single wheels. EVERYTHING IS HOMOLOGATED AND REPORTED IN THE LOGBOOK.
Currently fitted with HANKOOK tires 385/65 R22.5. These tires last up to 100,000 km. The vehicle is sold with its original set of wheels and tires (6 in total) size 9R22.5.
The vehicle is ready to face all seasons and climates thanks to insulation made of CORK and SHEEP'S WOOL, in addition to marine plywood covered in fiberglass for the walls of the living area. In most of the structure, the total thickness reaches 9cm! Excellent soundproofing result as well.
300-liter diesel tank for nearly 2,000 km of autonomy. 3 fresh water tanks of 150 liters each for a total of 450 liters. There’s a 6-stage filtering system with pre-filters, filters, purifier, and UV lamp.
WATER FROM THE TAPS IS DRINKABLE. 3 heating systems: 5kw Webasto, wood stove with roof chimney, and 12,000 BTU air conditioner/heat pump (a REAL conditioner, not those useless 12V things; in winter, you wear shorts and in summer, you wear a scarf!!) Bathroom with composting toilet and separate 70 x 70 cm shower. 10-liter electric domestic boiler.
Cubic mini 5kw wood stove. 117-liter compressor fridge and freezer. 1600w electric oven.
Two-burner 3000w induction hob. Large stainless steel sink. Huge horseshoe-shaped dinette that turns into a bed.
140x200 retractable double bed via lift system. 4 kg washing machine in the garage. 3 Dometic Seitz windows.
1 Dometic 40x40 porthole. HUGE garage 70x240x240. 2000w Hyundai generator.
1,800 Watt total photovoltaic system (4 x 450w). Mastervolt DCDC alternator charger of 800w.
