This truck is a wonderful combination of good engineering and presence with appearance. It was built with love in 2023 and was ready to drive in March 2024. There is still 1.5 years of warranty on the gearbox and the Iveco truck. With this size of truck, it’s possible to get everywhere because of the 4x4 and the small track. For example, you can easily enter parks in South Africa, which you can’t with a big truck. Also, the low consumption of diesel makes it interesting.
On the outside, there’s a spare wheel and a mechanical bike rack for 2 bikes that can be lifted mechanically. There is a Dometic camera RVS 540 installed for driving backwards. On the roof, there are 4 solar panels and the possibility to install a rack for a canoe or surfboards. There are 3 large storage cases behind and between the wheels, and a very large garage under the bed, with a loading point for electric bikes. The truck is built with all outbound windows, and there’s a large pass-through from 540 x 1250 mm to enter the cabin from the driving area. There is an electric stairs from Thule. The door and the 2 garage doors have a 3-point locking system with higher safety. Every door and window has a fly screen.
On the inside, the storage areas and the kitchen are finished with massive old oak wood from Croatia. The seats are in leather, and all surfaces are made of old Croatian oak, from 5 and 3cm thick. There is fancy LED lighting inside the cabin. The diner table can be converted into a third bed. The kitchen has a cooking fire-oven combination working with gas from Thetford, a 104-liter refrigerator and a 9-liter freezer from Indel B. The bed is 150 x 200cm and is really super to lie in because of the well-ventilated bed system from Froli and a good mattress. The bathroom has a cassette toilet Thetford C223-cs with a ventilator, an inox washbasin and a shower. There is also an electric Max Fan ventilator installed in the unit that works in 2 directions, in and out.
Technical: All electrical components are Victron. Lithium battery Victron with 4 solar panels. Fresh water 210 liter. Grey water 150 liter. Warm water with Truma combi 4E boiler. Heating with diesel.
