About
The vehicle was one of the last examples produced and dates back to 1994.
It already has the well-known Bosch distributor injection pump. The pump was optimized so that it now has an output of approx. 200 HP.
The gearbox has been replaced with a ZF S5-42, so you can drive 80km/h at 1800 rpm. The original gearbox is included.
In addition, all cardan shafts have been replaced.
Mounted are 2 diesel tanks, left with 430L, right with 290L. Manually switchable. A heatable diesel filter with water separator is also installed (heater not connected)
Range approx. 2800-3000km.
Diesel lines have been renewed.
Engine brake was retrofitted.
The car is fitted with 365/80 R20 tires.
The driver's cab has been soundproofed and lined with carpet, and 2 new seats have been fitted. A standard compressed air horn has of course also been fitted.
The car is approved for 3 people and is loaded to 7.5t, so it can be driven with the old German driver's license.
The vehicle is also very compact at 6.6 m long, 2.5 m wide and 3.60 m high
The living cabin is a Zeppelin FM2 Shelter with 3-point storage. It has always worked perfectly.
On the roof are 800W solar mounted which are stored in a 300Ah lithium battery. 7000W battery storage.
Dc-Dc charger is also on board. A charger for the shore power is installed. All devices are from Victron.
220V converter with 2000W from Offgridtec.
Fresh water is 210L, inside, insulated. Filters are installed before and after the tank.
The waste water tank has 100 liters, outside.
Heating is provided by a 2kw Planar diesel parking heater, which also heats the water. Water can also be heated with electricity.
Cooking is done with gas, 11kg gas bottle lasts forever.
The entire electrical system is controlled by Sonoff Smart, via radio remote control. Can also be controlled by app, for which a WiFi router must be installed in the cabin.
A household refrigerator with freezer compartment offers plenty of space for fresh food and beer.
A dry separation toilet ensures pleasant business on the road :)
The car has always accompanied us reliably over hill and dale on longer and shorter trips. The car was also very well received due to its somewhat conspicuous yet friendly paintwork.
The vehicle also comes with spare parts, tools and recovery equipment.
In the meantime, the Daf has also developed very well in terms of spare parts.
Thanks to a very strong community in Germany, many problems have now been solved and many spare parts are available again.
The Daf was registered as a motorhome in Germany and then imported to Italy. The car is located near Bolzano.
All Tüv reports are available, so a new registration in Germany is child's play.
