Mercedes Axor 1829 4x4 from 2007, previously with the German Army, approximately 165,000 km. Euro 4 with AdBlue, but AdBlue was deactivated for its trip to Africa. This engine is designed to handle low-quality fuels (high sulfur content).
Homologated and registered as a campervan in Belgium. 5-seat configuration: 3 seats in the cab and 2 seats in the rear cabin. 4-bed configuration: one triple bed in the rear and one single bed in front of the cab.
The cabin passes between the front of the truck and the rear. Rear cabin dimensions approximately 6100 x 2500 x height? Equipped with a system of 4 points for strong bridge crossing.
Windows, doors, and hatches are from outbound.eu (double-paned, designed to withstand up to 5000 meters).

I undertook a trip of approximately 8000 km in South Africa and Namibia, encountering no problems except for a tire deflation (due to excessive deflation for driving on sand) and a minor air leak, which was repaired at the end of the trip.

The vehicle is currently stored in a closed garage in Namibia near the Windhoek airport.
