About
Rugged, tested and proven overlander, the 2005 Bremach X-Trem 5.5t chassis has been upgraded by Austrian expert Allrad-Christ to protect all sensitive points and increase autonomy. With rear differential lock, reduced gears, oversized BFGoodrich Baja mud tires and 4x4, this vehicle will crawl up and down any slope or terrain, without lifting a wheel or touching the brakes. If you do get stuck in the mud, a front and back electric winch will provide an extra chance before forfeiting.
With its relatively small 2.8L 8140.43 Iveco engine (with Turbo and Intercooler), gas mileage is astonishing, and power is brought to you gently but surely. The vehicle utilizes a relatively small amount of electronics, allowing it to be serviced worldwide without computers while still enjoying a modern user experience. The vehicle now has 165,000 kilometers.
The 2005 Bimobil LBX365 camper unit is German made and still produced exactly the same to this day, simply because it’s a design that works. The cell structure presents incredible rigidity by being a lightweight composite material cast as a monoblock, with no joinings or weak points. With 800W solar, a brand-new Victron MPPT charger, 200Ah LiFePO4 battery and German electronics, the day-to-day power logistics can be comfortably put in the back of your mind with no micromanagement required. The dimensions are 5.9m long, 2.15m wide and 3.4m high. With such a short length, we could pull ourselves out of sticky situations by being able to turn around and maneuver in tight spots.
The Bremach X-Trem is designed to follow Land Rover tracks through mountainous forests, open pit mines, and rivers. Loaded with an extra 4 tons of equipment, it was previously equipped for the Polish military. Alphonse has taken us through very tight situations, in the wide open, mountain villages or even larger cities.
We traveled for 3 years around Mexico, and before us, the vehicle spent 15 years in Baja before returning to Europe for a decade. It has been carefully maintained by 2 owners before us, with a documented past and manuals for every part. It is now registered in The Netherlands and currently in Belgium.
Alphonse has been a dear partner in our family travels, our kids were 9 months and 2 years old when we started our overlanding and the truck is today a real family member. For the ease of traveling as a family, we custom-built a lightweight side deck that creates a comfortable buffer between the inside and outside world, this feature has been lifesaving and well thought out for its’ day-to-day use.
We also added a rear Thule bike carrier on a removable trailer hitch, which made it very comfortable to park the van and roam around on the bikes with the kids. The rear hitch also carries sand plates.
We renovated all of the inside ourselves in 2020, with 100% natural materials. The atmosphere is warm, cosy, all lights are dimmable and warm. Textiles are natural, paints are chalk, flooring is bamboo, oak and cork. All kitchen and bathroom surfaces are natural lime finishes in terracotta/earthy colors. Curtains are traditional ethnic textiles, hand crafted. Cushions and beds are faux leather, waterproof housings that can be machine washed, in perfect condition and baby proof.
The asking price is 85,000€.
