1998 Stewart and Stevenson M1078 converted into an Overland Expedition Show & Marketing truck. Ford capable of 4 feet of water or “Float” on the sand dunes with this very nimble and fun camping rig. 19,000 original miles on a Caterpillar 3116 engine and an Allison 7-speed automatic transmission.
Highway gears are installed; it will do 75 but cruises nicely at 65. Tires are balanced.
The spare comes down with the cab tilt and a winch. Started with a perfect rust-free chassis, fully reconditioned. Globe Trekker 16’ habitat with R17 composite panel and Aluminum thermal break extrusion frame.
