About
We are selling our well-maintained Defender. We owned it for 7 years and are now selling it as we changed - due to my length of +2m - to an Iveco Daily 4x4. The actual milage is 35.700miles/57.500km.
The conversion to an expedition was made by Custom Campers on a new bought 130 CC chassis in 2014. The vehicle offers all the amenities of a motorhome in a compact space. The chassis is from 12/2013, is a Defender 130 crew cab with the TD4 2.2 engine.
It comes in tamara blue, the cabin is painted in Porsche grey. It has the winter package: heated seats and windshield and aircondition – everything else is as simple as possible. The vehicle has the following dimensions: Height 2,32m, length 5,45m, width 2,08m.
It is built to fit in a standard 20ft container. The following parts were changed to have a proper offroad capability: Fox 2.0 Racingshocks OEM Suspensions fitted by RE-Suspension, ATB Torsen differential locks on both axes, Rocksliders, Ex-Tec cyclonic snorkel, underride and differential protection by Nägele, an improved intermediate shaft by 4Ward and a wading kit. For comfort Recaro seats on longer seat consoles are as well installed as a cruise control, a rearview camera system, Apple Carplay/Android Auto tuner.
We have a Long Ranger fuel tank with a capacity of 139l, 80l of fresh water with a Seagull filter system. The cabin is fully integrated. It’s made with an 30mm thick insulation aluminim/wood/foam sandwich.
Inside it comes with casemaker furniture fitting. Two-burn stove with sink, 32l fridge, 2x55Wp solar panels on the roof and Webasto auxiliary heating. Pop-up Roof with a 2.2m x 1.5m bed.
LED lights. A lot of storage space. Toilet.
On the outside, worklights, airline rails all around and on the roof, outside kitchen, awning, and a lot more. For more information feel free to contact me.
