About
This is the text you need to work on: Bonjour,
Nous mettons en vente notre Sprinter 319D, 6cyl, 4*4 with a short gearbox, built by Make my Van, a specialist in custom conversions for Sprinter and VW T6 vehicles.
After 1.5 years of travel and 60,000km, the vehicle is better than new. Minor issues have been resolved and the concept works wonderfully.
It’s a recent vehicle adapted for long-distance travel. It has been reprogrammed to remove the AdBlue and EGR valve, and its power has been slightly increased to 225CV. We’ve traveled through countries like Iran with very sulfurous diesel and reached altitudes over 3,000m. There were no problems throughout the journey. A dongle is positioned on the diagnostic port, allowing the Schaknat company, who reprogrammed the engine, to remotely read any potential faults that may appear. This solution is in place because Sprinters outside of Europe are Euro 3 models and Mercedes or other garages will not have the software to read this Euro 6 model. Thus, you travel with a new vehicle that won’t give you problems even if a fault does appear. It’s also one of the last V6 models known for its reliability and endurance.
Next, regarding the chassis, a weak point was anticipated. A Fox stage 2 kit and an additional leaf spring were installed at the rear. The vehicle is perfectly balanced and doesn’t fatigue off-road. The shocks don’t overheat, the wheels always have grip, and the bottom of the sills are fully protected. Armor has been installed on the engine, gearbox, transfer case, and shock absorbers. The top of the rear shocks has been reinforced. A winch with synthetic rope plus two towing loops on reinforced bumper will give you more security. A kinetic rope, straps and a pulley are delivered with the whole kit.
Regarding range, we maximized it. 170l of diesel allow for 1,000-1,500km, and the 220l of water will give you 10-15 days of solitude in the most beautiful places. Two water filtration systems will give you potable water wherever you fill up.
500 Amps of lithium batteries and a 100A Redarc charger will give you the necessary power to run induction plates and a combined microwave oven. We opted for induction cooking to cook quickly and independently of drafts. Furthermore, no need to store bulky gas bottles and look for refill stations.
Heating and hot water are produced with a Webasto boiler. Air/water heat exchangers warm the cabin to any temperature, and an water/water exchanger gives you hot water at will in 1-2 min. No altitude or temperature problems.
The vehicle is equipped with a spacious, removable shower inside and two capture points outside (rear and sliding door side). All these points are equipped with mixers and therefore with hot water.
The vehicle is designed for 2 people but can accommodate two visitors on the U-shaped bench at the back which converts into a bed at night.
The main bed is stuck to the ceiling during the day and lowers at night with a handle and 4 cylinders. No need to store the bed during the day. In one push, the bed disappears to the ceiling.
